A retail and long-term care pharmacy technician position is available on a contract basis in the Midlothian, VA area to cover a maternity leave. This role requires a licensed Pharmacy Technician with experience in retail or long-term care settings to provide exceptional pharmacy services from late December through early February.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately distribute medications as prescribed by physicians and healthcare practitioners
- Educate customers on medication usage and safety
- Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive experience for patients and clients
Qualifications
- Valid Pharmacy Technician license in Virginia
- Previous experience in retail and/or long-term care pharmacy preferred
- Strong attention to detail and professionalism in handling prescriptions
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Approximately 8.5 hours per day from December 29, 2025, through February 6, 2026
